Air Freight and Courier - international and

We
offer four levels of service to most destinations:
Same day, next day, second day and economy. Each
level of service is priced relative to available
schedules and transit time parameters established
by our customer. We aim to get shipments to their
destination on time - every time - whether to
the consignee’s door or to their local
airport with particular expertise for urgent,
time-sensitive shipments.

| Ocean
Freight |
|
We
handle both Full Container Loads (FCL) and
less than container loads (LCL) Ocean services
world-wide, utilising carriers that match the
specific needs of each and every shipment entrusted
to our care.

| Road
Freight (UK and Overseas) |
|
As
a truly multi-modal freight forwarder we are
able to arrange road transportation of goods
throughout the UK and Europe. We offer express
and groupage services to and from most European
countries, together with dedicated vans and
trucks when required.

| Importing
by Air, Ocean and Road |
|
Quantum
provides all services required for shipment
importation into the UK by air and surface
freight. Through our extensive network, we
are able to arrange transportation from most
cities throughout the free world which are
co-ordinated by choosing the best method of
carriage to meet delivery criteria
.

| Aircraft
on Ground (AOG) Desk |
|
To
support the airline industry, we operate a
specialist 24/7 AOG service for a number of
carriers and spare parts suppliers. We have
extensive experience in achieving worldwide
transit times to minimise both aircraft grounding
and service times. We handle any item from
the smallest washers up to B747 engines and
wing sections. Please contact us to discuss

| Customs
Brokerage |
|
We
have direct EDI connection to UK Customs’ computer
system (CHIEF) which enables us to provide
fast and efficient customs clearance for any
type of import procedure that is required.
Customs clearance can be performed either on
a routine or expedited basis to meet the needs
of each individual shipment. We frequently
deliver goods the same day as arrival – on
occasion within 3 hours of touchdown.

| Logistic
services and fulfilment |
|
Logistics
often pose problems to manufacturers and service
providers. Quantum takes the strain with carefully
structured planning and execution of logistic
tasks in coordination with our client’s
management personnel. We also provide all levels
of fulfilment services to meet any individual
requirements.

| Specialist
Packing |
|
There
are professional packing services at our warehouse
location and we are able to pack virtually
any item into either standard size cartons
or bespoke wooden and plywood cases. The packers
are licensed and trained to pack dangerous
goods for air, ocean and road freight. All
wood used by our packing company comply with
the International Plant Protection Convention
(IPPC) requirements.

| Warehousing |
|
Our
warehouse facility consists of 10,000 square
foot customs warehousing (ERTS) and 10,000
square foot of general storage. The facility
is DOT security listed and is equipped with
an X-ray unit for security checking packages
up to the size of 150 cm wide x 147 cm high
with any practical length.
